Pentecost: Is the fruit of the Spirit growing in our lives?

The Gospel of Pentecost is that we can breathe again, even when our breath runs out, the breath of God still holds us in life and still unites us.

Beautiful flowers for Mother’s Day

As the Easter season draws to a close and the summer months are here, many of our lives take a change of direction. This is also true for St. Columba as many parishioners spend time away on vacation or head up north.

In all this activity, we need to be reminded of the importance of relationships and community. Even though the summer change can throw us out of our normal routine, this does not need to diminish our capacity to grow in faith & love.

Change can give us the opportunity to expand ourselves by learning new things or experiencing some new aspect of God we hadn’t considered before.

Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers all summer long.

Have a wonderful summer & May God bless you in ways you were not expecting.
