St. Columba in July – Please read & enjoy!

News from St. Columba

INDEPENDENCE DAY! The ideas and beliefs of the founding fathers of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are no less true today as they were then. Ideas and beliefs are funny things. They do not come from simply “doing the right thing.” They are something that goes beyond. Ideas and beliefs are indeed spiritual by their very nature. They demand a certain heart set rather than mind set.

This is true INDEPENDENCE. Let us make hatred foolish with a smile, an act of kindness, a sadness for disparity, and joy for those that walk in dignity and Independence. God bless America.

We are in the full swing of summer here in the beautiful city of Marathon and that means at St. Columba we are dusting off our kilts and making up the raffle baskets for the upcoming Summer 1/2 year party! August 6th at 5pm we are hosting The Kilts in the Keys party at Herbie’s Bar & Chowder House.
