Dear Friends,

We have been enjoying an amazing winter down here in the Florida Keys. The weather has been gorgeous and the company has been more than wonderful. As one might assume, in the middle of February our parish is in full swing of the season as we move into Lent next week with our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, begins at 5 PM, sponsored by the Men’s Club with real Maple Syrup for your pancakes, Ash Wednesday Service at Noon on Wednesday and our regular Sunday Service at 9 am.

• Men’s Breakfast meets this Tuesday at 8:15 at the 7 Mile Grill
• Enquirers Class, Wed Night at 7 PM
• Ongoing Bible Study meets on the Pavilion at 10 Wednesday Mornings
• Movies and More, Feb 24th, The Ides of March w/George Clooney with grown up snacks (Free, at 7)
• Rug Hooking Tuesday Afternoons, Iona Gallery

Worship forms the core of our life together but fellowship helps us to get to know one another. Each Sunday following worship, plan to follow the garden path to our parish hall for coffee and conversation and most often a very interesting and high quality Adult Forum. This year as we prepare for our Iona Pilgrimage most of our programs will feature a Celtic flair.

This Sunday, Franklin Greenman will lead us through How the Irish Saved Civilization, something that the Irish among us already knew but the rest will find out on Sunday!

Don’t forget that this Saturday (registration beginning at 9AM), Independence Cay Bicycle Rally (not a race) with food, music and prizes. Meet in the parking lot of Overseas Outfitters (one of our generous sponsors)

Episcopal Church Women Tea Party and Fashion Show beginning at 3PM to benefit St. Columba. Really, really fun and great tea party vibe with cute and delicious sandwiches, cakes and fashion!!

Stone Soup Suppers, Dinner and a Movie begin the Wed evening following Ash Wednesday, Dinner, Movie and Candlelight Compline. Sign Up Sheet in the Parish Hall.
